After building my first half-timbered house, I decided to create another and make a small diorama with an alley next to the town wall.

The technique was the same as the previous house, but I made it a bit longer and lower for some visual variety.

I used some more wood and some plasticard to create some worn doors.

The roof was also done in the same way, spreading clay across a board and then using a plastic comb for creating an inpression of a thatched roof.

I wanted this roof to look older and about ready to be replaced, so I added a lot of moss, which gives it a wonderful texture.

Then it was time for some photos alongside the city wall diorama, and suddenly the Port of Hambeck is starting to come alive š
